Reminding myself that, even as I struggle, I am still one of the lucky ones.
Kathryn Houghton is finishing her MFA in fiction from Eastern Washington University, where she currently works as an assistant managing editor for Willow Springs, a kickass literary magazine. And no, she's not biased at all.

When she's not writing or job-hunting, Kathryn spends her time trying to learn French (by reading Harry Potter translations) and organic chemistry (because she's a self-professed dork), trying to teach her cats manners, and looking up cute pictures of meerkats.
